Aimee Reneau Tafreshi is a sixth generation Texan who is now living on beautiful Amelia Island, Florida while married to a fellow Longhorn fan. They have three young children. Aimee grew up in Austin and has always enjoyed writing articles and personal essays, beginning with middle school yearbook and the high school newspaper, and then on to The Daily Texan at The University of Texas and Study Breaks magazine. Aimee was selected for the creative sequence of UT’s prestigious advertising program where she honed her craft as a future copywriter. She also interned for a prominent copywriter and ghostwrote articles for her while in college.
In keeping with her original plans, Aimee attended The University of Texas School of Law and then practiced litigation for seven years in Austin and Charleston, South Carolina. While expecting their second child, Aimee decided to leave the rat race and return to her lifelong passion of writing. Since that time, her family has lived in Houston, Connecticut and now Florida. She is a featured writer for Little World Organics, a company dedicated to healthy mothers and babies. Her articles have also appeared on Nameberry.com, a popular baby-naming website, and Fe Fit, a fitness and wellness company.
She is currently working on her first fiction novel, a legal thriller.
Very well written! Good job, Aimee!
